Love Funding said it has closed a $37.5 million loan for the construction and permanent financing of Chisholm Creek Apartments in the mixed-use Chisholm Creek development west of Western Avenue and south of Memorial Road. Washington, D.C.-based Love's Senior Director Leonard A. Lucas secured the financing through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's Section 221(d)(4) loan insurance program. The 287-unit, four-story building will feature an urban-style wrap layout that encompasses a courtyard and pool area and includes a parking garage at each end. Other amenities will include a club room, business center, fitness center, coffee bar and two dog parks. The development is being led by Charlie Nicholas, president and sole owner of N.E. Construction, general contractor.
