Oklahoma City-based developer Medallion Group continues construction on Chisholm Creek, the metro’s first mixed-use environment that will provide everything from entertainment and music venues to hotel and event space, office facilities, a collection of restaurants and shops, a fitness facility, residential apartments and running trails. “We are creating something entirely new, an urban-like atmosphere in the suburbs,” said Whitney Rainbolt, a representative for Chisholm Creek.
The development includes the construction of a 60,000-square-foot multi-level building named Tract 30 located on the east end of Chisholm Creek. It is expected to house an assortment of restaurants, retailers and office space with an additional parking structure for more than 130 cars. It is set to open in early 2016, according to a press release. Rainbolt said that more than $120 million worth of new construction has been announced for the development. The complex’s first tenants include St. Anthony Healthplex North, Cabela’s Incorporated and TopGolf International. Rainbolt said that Medallion is still in discussions with numerous other potential national and local tenants.
